This week we went PAPERLESS! (mostly...)
This week our class went PAPERLESS! This was a huge success. I introduced students to Google Docs and they learned how to create a document, how to share a document, how to open various documents, and they gained lots of experience simply typing and utilizing this technology! They persevered through all the challenges they came across this week and worked incredibly hard. Learning to change font size, font type, bold words, underline words, and check their spelling are big tasks for 1st graders! We didn't just learn to use technology though, we also spent time doing other hands-on activities. Many of these included fun ways to practice our spelling words - one of which was writing our words in shaving cream!
