Our first grade classes spend time every other week with a different 1st grade teacher, learning about a different habit of mind. Mrs. Metcalf used her group time for the last few weeks to teach about perseverance and managing impulsivity using this song! As a fun wrap up to this finished rotation, we got the whole group together to act it out.
